After The Worst Parts

Hi! So, for years I have been wanting to tell this story. The story of…my life. Yawn, I know. But, stay with me here, I really think you’re going to like it.

I recently had a really, really hard pull to start making recordings of these stories and relive every single nightmare over, in hopes of releasing them and breaking patterns for myself.

I had no idea what I was even going to do with them, but I just knew that I needed to hit the record button and start talking.

So, here I am. Writing a blog, hoping I can get these audio clips hosted and posted – write a little about each clip, interact with whoever listens, has questions, laughs, cries…just whatever happens, happens.

Some of the things I talk about have major trigger warnings, so I knew that I couldn’t just post those things as a “podcast” and just let it fly.

These are raw and unedited recordings, I mean it. The mic was plugged in and I saw a button that said “rec” and I pressed it and talked. Nothing is professional, I pause too long, I swallow too loud, you can hear my tongue clicks, I cry, I talk with my hands so I hit my mic a few times, I play with the mic cord, I move things on my desk….

But I did it. So far, I have about 8-9 recordings. Some are an hour long, most are around 20-30 minutes. I tried my best to give detail and recall what I could from what happened.

I am hoping to just bulk post what I already have. So, if you want to see it all, subscribe and/or bookmark this blog. What I have recorded so far only covers about 1/8th of my story.
